Fork Labs - Magnetic Particle Spectrometer
The start-up company Fork Labs is engaged in the development and production of Magnetic Particle Spectrometers (MPS), which provide a novel method for the characterization of magnetic nanoparticles.
The MPS of Fork Labs offers manufacturers and users of magnetic nanoparticles a new way to measure the physical properties and to define the quality of the MNP within a matter of seconds. While optimizing the MNPs, the iterative process of synthesizing and characterizing the particles as well as adopting the synthesis parameter will therefore be accelerated and the costs will be reduced.
This technology allows physicists, chemists, medical doctors and pharmacologists to participate at the forefront of international research in the field of magnetic nanoparticles. The launch of the MPS is planned for the second half of 2012
